Click here to watch the message – It’s Time For My Breakthrough

This is a special message birthed from spending time with the Holy Spirit and truly hearing His heart for us not to waste another day. That Breakthrough is His desire for us everyday, not just “someday” or “when we go into a New Year” or new job, or new relationship.  The goodness of God is so expansive and so complete that there is absolutely nothing that He hasn’t already considered for us each and every day. Abundant living is not waiting for “it” to eventually happen…it’s knowing God each and every day. Not coincidentally that’s the same definition of Eternal life.

“God’s idea of abundant living is for us to be just as excited about seeing a New Day, as we are about seeing a New Year.”–@RKBLUE

In the message, I outline 4 clear Keys to Living a Breakthrough Life!

Grab your Bible, a note pad or tablet, iPad, phone a good comfortable seat and get ready for your LIFE TO CHANGE as you BELIEVE!!

Blessings and Peace,

A Leaders Keys to POWER

P – PRAYER
O – OBEDIENCE
W – WORSHIP
E – ENDURANCE
R – RELATIONSHIPS

Jesus made the promise to give us this power and authority in Matthew 16:18 when he said to Peter: “The gates of Hades will not be able to withstand or withhold the advancing church.” Jesus was going to build his church on this revelation of who He is… The church was going to advance. The gates of Hades could not withstand it.
Jesus is saying that he who is in us is greater than he who is in the world. His power is greater than the power of the enemy. When there is a head-on conflict between the power of the enemy and the power of God, the power of the enemy will lose every time.
How do we then live and walk in this power and authority?

Ephesians 1:18-22 (NIV) 18 I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in his holy people, 19 and his incomparably great power for us who believe. That power is the same as the mighty strength 20 he exerted when he raised Christ from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly realms, 21 far above all rule and authority, power and dominion, and every name that is invoked, not only in the present age but also in the one to come. 22 And God placed all things under his feet and appointed him to be head over everything for the church

Power of Christ described as Supreme, unlimited, over all flesh, over all things, glorious, everlasting, able to subdue all things, it’s exhibited in creation, upholding all things, salvation, His teaching, working miracles, enabling others to work miracles, forgiving sins, giving spiritual life, giving eternal life, raising the dead, raising himself from the dead!!!

Key 1 to POWER: P – Prayer

Don’t pray when you feel like it. Have an appointment with the Lord and keep it. A man is powerful on his knees. ~ Corrie Ten Boom
James 5:16-18 declares, “…The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective.

Corinthians 10:4-5 “The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ

The power of prayer is not the result of the person praying. Rather, the power resides in the God who is being prayed to and believed in.

Key 2 to POWER: O – Obedience

Have you ever made a decision to obey God as a way of life? I’m not talking about obeying once in a while but in every area to the best of your knowledge and ability. Or do you find that there are times when you struggle to do what you know is right and in keeping with His principles?

If we’re honest, there are times when all of us deal with this dilemma. Many times its not that we don’t know what the truth of God’s will is, but it may be that we want to do what we want to do. Secretly we hope that somehow we’ll get by…that’s not the way. Not only because it has consequences but also because it has some additional impacts:

  • Robs us of Confidence
  • Pushes us away from talking with God – Prayer

Deut 28: 1-3“If you diligently obey the Lord your God, being careful to do all His commandments which I command you today, the Lord your God will set you high above all the nations of the earth. All these blessings will come upon you and overtake you if you obey the Lord your God. Blessed shall you be in the city, and blessed shall you be in the country

Key 3 to POWER: W – Worship

William Booth the founder of the Salvation Army used to say: “If a church was on fire for God, people for miles would come to watch it burn.” To paraphrase Booth: If believers experience the fire of God’s worship then lost people would be drawn to God like a moth to the flames.

In this house we emphasize worship as a lifestyle. It’s an understanding and experience of the all consuming and abiding presence of God.

We are the temple and He manifests His power in us and through us. Lay aside your troubles, your anxieties, your fears, and your cares. Celebrate God’s gift of mercy and grace; God’s touch of forgiveness; God’s power to lift you out of the slimy pits of life; God’s provision to set you on firm footing. Sing a new song. Sing a hymn of praise.

Worship releases the POWER of God – a declaration and proclamation that God “YOU are first in my life!”

Key 4 to POWER: E – ENDURANCE

12 Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, 2 fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. 3 Consider him who endured such opposition from sinners, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart.

NLV (New Life Version) 12 Our fight is not with people. It is against the leaders and the powers and the spirits of darkness in this world. It is against the demon world that works in the heavens. 13 Because of this, put on all the things God gives you to fight with. Then you will be able to stand in that sinful day. When it is all over, you will still be standing. 14 So stand up and do not be moved.

The true lesson of endurance is not how strong or weak we are–its true lesson is that with God’s power we can endure anything–@RKBLUE

Key 5 to POWER: R – RELATIONSHIPS

Personal union with Christ gives believers this same divine power (Hebrews 6:5).

(2 Peter 1:3)3 We have everything we need to live a life that pleases God. It was all given to us by God’s own power, when we learned that he had invited us to share in his wonderful goodness.

(2 Timothy1: 6-7) 6 Therefore I remind you to stir up the gift of God which is in you through the laying on of my hands. 7 For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.

He imparts His resurrection power to each of us the moment we believe so that we, too, can overcome the enemy, proclaim the message of the gospel, produce the “fruit of the Spirit” and persevere to the end.

(1 Cor 2:1-5 )When I came to you, I did not come with eloquence or human wisdom as I proclaimed to you the testimony about God.[a] 2 For I resolved to know nothing while I was with you except Jesus Christ and him crucified. 3 I came to you in weakness with great fear and trembling. 4 My message and my preaching were not with wise and persuasive words, but with a demonstration of the Spirit’s power, 5 so that your faith might not rest on human wisdom, but on God’s power.

A True and Sure Foundation

August 24, 2009 Leave a comment

Lately it seems that every tenet or basis for life and understanding has been shaken in some way…whether through the ravages of war, economic turmoil, social upheaval, or just downright craziness that seems to dominate so much of the psyche of the world we live in today.

Foundation….

1 : the act of founding
2 : a basis (as a tenet, principle, or axiom) upon which something stands or is supported
3 a : funds given for the permanent support of an institution : endowment b : an organization or institution established by endowment with provision for future maintenance
4 : an underlying base or support; especially : the whole masonry substructure of a building
5 a : a body or ground upon which something is built up or overlaid

Isaiah 33:6
He will be the sure foundation for your times, a rich store of salvation and wisdom and knowledge; the fear of the LORD is the key to this treasure.

So this is a word for anyone questioning or perhaps re-affirming their faith by asking the age-old question —“what can I depend on in times like these?”

I can’t trust in investments, my accounts, assets, positions, or titles, but I can trust in God’s word.  Psalm 97:1-2 says:

The LORD reigns, let the earth be glad;
let the distant shores rejoice.

Clouds and thick darkness surround him;
righteousness and justice are the foundation of his throne.

Psalm 106:1-3 declares:

1 Praise the LORD.
Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good;
his love endures forever.

2 Who can proclaim the mighty acts of the LORD
or fully declare his praise?

3 Blessed are they who maintain justice,
who constantly do what is right.

So let’s connect some dots….God is the sure foundation of my timesrich store of salvation, wisdom, and knowledge…fear of the Lord is the key to this treasure.  ….the foundation of the Lord is righteousness and justice…..blessed are they who maintain justice and who constantly do what is right….

If you’re tracking with me then consider what Isaiah 56:1-2 says:

1 This is what the LORD says:
“Maintain justice
and do what is right,
for my salvation is close at hand
and my righteousness will soon be revealed.

2 Blessed is the man who does this,
the man who holds it fast,
who keeps the Sabbath without desecrating it,
and keeps his hand from doing any evil.”

If there is ever a time to have something etched into your heart, soul, and spirit…it is this…the LORD REIGNS regardless of the times and circumstances you may be facing or dealing with whether good or bad.  It is because He reigns that we understand that when we maintain justice and do what is right constantly–we are responding in obedience.  We realize that our righteousness or right standing does not become possible because of our goodness, but because of Jesus Christ who made us the righteousness of God when we believed in His life, death, and resurrection and accepted Him as Lord and Savior. It is good to hold onto this truth because there’s nothing you did to make yourself righteous and there’s nothing you can do to nullify Christ’s sacrifice–it is complete and perfect regardless of what you believe about it.

So the word of God says…justice and righteousness are the foundation of His throne…and God’s throne is where He presides and rules….and where He is there is power, glory, fullness of joy and all-sufficiency.

Here’s something to blow your mind and set a true and sure foundation:

  1. When we walk in obedience, we offer our lives as a true foundation for God’s presence –since we are now the temple of God’s Holy Spirit. Jesus said, “Whoever has my commands and obeys them, he is the one who loves me.” John 14:21
  2. This obedience enables us to abide in and become what we experience in God’s presence –by allowing Him to “fully occupy” the place of authority and rule in our lives.
  3. As God’s presence and word reigns in our lives–His power, glory, fullness of joy and all-sufficiency blesses us…empowers us to prosper supernaturally.
  4. God unlocks the treasure of His riches in salvation, wisdom, and knowledge to us when we offer Him the key (fear of the Lord in our obedience and reverence for His Holiness and Name)
  5. God’s Blessing and Presence enables us to fulfill the purpose that He has planned for our lives and it withstands every resistance and act from the enemy of our souls. His word prevails…because it ends where it started….Our Lord Reigns!!!

“…so is my word that goes out from my mouth; it will not return to me empty; but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.” Isaiah 55:11

Lord help me to sow this word deeply into my spirit and soul– so that it fully consumes and occupies my very thoughts, decisions, and actions because I know that those things direct me towards my destiny.  I agree with what your word says through faith, and I put it into operation through the act of love– by obeying what you have said, and I fully expect to live and experience EVERYTHING that you have said from your mouth.  I realize eternal life is knowing you God and knowing Jesus Christ who was sent by you–reign in my life daily because there is a TRUE and SURE FOUNDATION  available for your throne–in Jesus Name.

Blessings,

Randy
